Our formulas are made with biocompatible, research-backed ingredients that directly support skin health or enhance the stability and performance of our products. Each ingredient is carefully selected for its quality, safety, and proven results. We prioritize plant-based, ethically sourced actives whenever possible, but never at the expense of performance or compatibility.

We hold ourselves to high standards of safety and transparency. You’ll never find ingredients in our formulas that are known or suspected to disrupt the skin barrier, cause irritation, or raise health or environmental concerns.

Our clean standard excludes:

• Parabens and formaldehyde-releasing preservatives
• Phthalates
• Sulfates (including SLS and SLES)
• PEGs (polyethylene glycols)
• Silicones that are non-biodegradable or highly occlusive
• Synthetic dyes and colorants
• Microplastic beads and non-biodegradable polymers
• Hydroquinone and other potentially sensitizing skin-lightening agents
• Chemical sunscreen filters such as oxybenzone and octinoxate
• Animal-derived ingredients or those tested on animals
• …and an additional internal list of more than 2,000 other ingredients we never formulate with, so you can trust every formula has been carefully vetted.

Every exclusion is intentional and based on safety, sustainability, and scientific evidence—not marketing trends.

Our current products are either fragrance-free or lightly scented with naturally derived plant extracts. In the future, we may introduce fragrance blends that include both natural and safe synthetic components, always within our clean standard.

When that time comes, we’ll clearly label any potential fragrance allergens so you can make the best choice for your skin. Any future fragrance ingredients will be rigorously tested and free from phthalates, nitromusks and polycyclic musks, and known or suspected endocrine disruptors.
